Observational drawing

Observational drawing is my way to create pictures. I sit down at the chosen place and perceive people, perspectives and objects and my eyes and hands interact and try to sense and set the lines for what I see. Drawing is highly analogue and also mobile as the requisites are paper, pen and ink on the one side and time, concentration and relaxation – sometimes lightness and flow moments – on the other.

Trend Receiver Portraits

For an international foresight project around the central question we have been talking to 30 Trend Receivers in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Zurich, London, New York, Boston and Shanghai. We have been focusing on the question “How do we want to live in 10 years time?“ and thus discussed in depth both individual wishes and expectations in different areas of life as well as related dynamics of change in society.

Shoptables are an interesting and diverse element of store interior design and offline consumption culture. They vary from rammage tables to functional racks to lively stages for products. Shoptables can be crystalline shrines, huge counters and filigree or flamboyant podiums (2001 - 2015).
